DIY Easy Diwali Decoration Ideas

Easy Diwali Centerpiece for your dining or coffee table using basic tray and wine glasses that are found in every home. This centerpiece was so easy to make, it came together in under 10 minutes

The glasses can be any stem glasses-champagne, goblets, margarita or liqueur glasses. Keep in mind the size of the table and tray used. For a large 8 seater table, you could use a large rectangular tray and 5 glasses. For a small corner table, maybe a small tray with some champagne flutes.

The battery operated fairy lights that I have used I ordered them from Amazon. The Marigold garlands were bought from Amazon India. I undid one of the garlands to get the flowers to put inside the glasses. You can use any flowers including fresh flowers, though they will last just a couple of hours.

Here are the steps of putting together the centerpiece-

Supplies needed

Place the fairy lights in the glasses

and fill the glasses with flowers

Turn on the switch, invert the glasses

onto the tray, place a garland around the tray

and decorate tray with premade rangoli pieces

Notes

A quick decorating tip-always use odd numbers. So either use 3 or five or 7 glasses. Odd numbered items just look more pleasing to the eye.
