Ingredients
1cauliflower, mediumcut into florets
1/4 cupcornstarch
1/4 cuparrowroot flour
1tspsalt
1tsp garlic powder
1/2tsponion powder
1tsppaprika
1tspsalt
1/4 cupwater
cooking spray
For sauce
3/4cupFranks Red Hot Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce
5tbspbutter/vegan butter
1tbspsugar
Instructions
Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl, except cauliflower florets and cooking spray
Toss in the cauliflower florets, making sure to cover the florets really well, including the stems of the cauliflower. Set aside
For the sauce- in a heavy bottom pan, melt butter. Add the hot sauce. Bring to a boil on medium heat. Add sugar and cook for 2-3 minutes on medium.
For Air Fryer
Preheat air fryer at 400 F for 5 minutes
Shake off the excess flour and layer in a single layer, without over crowding
Spray with cooking spray and air fry for 6 minutes
open air fryer, turn the cauliflower, spray some cooking oil and air fry again for 6 minutes
Remove on a plate, brush the sauce evenly on the cauliflower bites and put back in the air fryer for 2 more minutes. Serve immediately with celery sticks, ranch or bleu cheese dressing
For Oven
preheat oven at 425F
On a parchment lined baking tray, arrange the cauliflower in a single layer. Brush some oil on the florets and bake for 10 minutes
Turn the cauliflower bites, brush some oil on to the cauliflower bites and bake for an additional 10 minutes
Brush the sauce evenly on the cauliflower bites and bake again for 5 minutes. Serve immediately with celery sticks, ranch or bleu cheese dressing
