Flaxseed Mouth freshener/mukhwas is one of the easiest ways to include the power packed super food in your diet on a daily basis. The star of this multi seed recipe is flaxseed which is a wonderful source of Omega3 for the vegetarians.
You can add carom seeds/ajwain and even some dry coconut flakes. If you do add these, roast each one separately in the pan as they have different roasting times. if you like the fennel seeds very crisp, then roast them separately from the flaxseed and also soak them separately in lemon juice and salt. Flaxseed gets toasted faster than the fennel. Adding the sweet red mukhwas is optional. I have added red mukhwas to only half, but if you want the entire mukhwas to be sweet, use 1 cup sweet red mukhwas instead of 1/2 cup.
