Restaurant Style Salsa in Minutes

Restaurant style salsa ready in minutes using canned tomatoes and fresh cilantro, peppers and garlic. A perfect appetizer that’s easy to make and has all the flavors and color that we are used to at our favorite Mexican restaurant. There is no reason to buy ready made salsa when the home made one is so easy and free of preservatives.

I love Mexican food for its bold flavors and often experiment with different recipes. Mexican appetizers like Mexican Spirals/ Black Bean PinwheelsGuacamole with make ahead instructions, Black Bean Soup/Mexican Inspired Soup and Chipotle Copycat Burrito Bowl where I have included recipes of Cilantro Lime Rice, Chipotle Style Black Beans and Chipotle Style Sofritas-(MexicanStyleTofu).

Try this salsa and you will not buy the ready made, bottled one anymore! If you are looking for some unusual fruity salsas then you must try Mango Peach Salsa , Strawberry Kiwi Salsa and Habanero pepper Chatni-salsa alternative.

Moving on to the recipe, here is the written recipe followed by the step by step pictorial one-

Hi Anu, did you mean fresh tomatoes? Yes, you can chop fresh tomatoes and it would be more like Pico di gallo. If you don’t want to use canned tomatoes, blanch whole tomatoes, remove skin and follow the recipe.
